Artists Services, Dance Information Norway is a national information office and proficiency center for the art of dance. The center, formerly known as Senter for Dansekunst (The Centre for the art of dance), was established in March 1994 by the Norwegian Association for Dancers, Choreographers and Dance Teachers (NoDa), and is funded by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

One of our current projects is hosting an event in the Nordic Kedja project (www.kedja.net) which will feature seminars, workshops, and performances related to the field of dance and new media. The event will take place in Oslo the Atumnn of 2009.

Ine Therese Berg, dance consultant at the Dance Information Centre. Hold an MA in performance studies with a theisis on multimedial performance, and have previously worked as a critic, dramaturge, and producer. I´m currently responsible for researching and planning our part of the Nordic encounters, which will concern dance and new media (as stated above).

Join the ke∂ja Oslo - You tube challenge

Before the upcoming ke∂ja Oslo - Dance and New Media conference I have started the ke∂ja Oslo dance video challenge on You Tube where you can post your own dance video, and challenge your colleagues and friends to do the same. Remember to credit the people that are taking part, we want to know who they are! Ask them before you post the video.
