Seeking submissions for Movement Media's New Weekly Online Videodance Contest

Pentacle's Movement Media announces a new weekly online videodance contest on Move the Frame blog.

Video is exploding as a medium on the Web, and web video formats for dance and kinetic-based films are erupting within the media arts. Movement Media's goal is to showcase these new works and assist Internet audiences in finding artists' videos on the web which are specifically dedicated to movement and dance. Therefore, we are seeking interesting blends of dance and kinetic-based films which explore the range and scope of this burgeoning genre.

The first submission deadline for Movement Media’s Weekly Online Videodance Contest is JUNE 2ND, with the winners to be showcased on our blog, Move the Frame on Friday JUNE 5TH.

A weekly Theme will structure the format of the submissions. You do not have to be a video-maker to submit a video. You can also nominate other people’s work if you think it fits the weekly theme and otherwise complies with the submission requirements.

We look forward to showcasing your work!

Sincerely,

Anna

Humans exploring collaboration, coops, hybrid art, dance, embodiment, cognition, tech-science, networks, post-humanism and culture.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
