Anomic Multimedia Theatre wants to develop your performance skills and work on an exciting contemporary performance project in August.
Work with Anomic for five and a half days to build a
multimedia theatre extravaganza. Using Shakespeare’s The Tempest as a starting
point you will be involved in creating and performing a visual spectacle combining dance, acting, animation and music. Turning one of theatre’s greatest masterpieces into a modern day tour de force, chock full of visuals and energy!
The five and a half day course will focus on learning set movement and choreography, building physical characters, working with animation and video from multiple projectors and 50 inch plasma TV’s, leading to a live performance on the Saturday for family and friends.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical
experience with one of the country’s leading multimedia performance companies.
The Summer School is running from the 8th – 13th August 2011, the hours we will work from are 10:30am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 10.30am - 1.30pm on the Saturday.
This summer school aims to challenge you, push your boundaries and help you develop and learn new skills in various areas of the theatre industry.
Bring your imagination and we will lead you into inspiring and exciting new ways of creating theatre.
*Please wear appropriate clothing for the workshops i.e.tracksuits and bring packed lunches, water and snacks with you.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
