A butoh dance and video installation experience by LEIMAY AcTS LAB.
CAVE and GARNICA LEIMAY AcTS LAB (LEIMAY) present a new collaboration between dancer-choreographer Ximena Garnica and video artist Shige Moriya; with live music by New York based experimental musicians: Jeremy Slater and Ninni Morgia. In Floating Point – waves, the company integrates Butoh dance, installation, real-time video lighting and live music, in a performance experience reflecting the instable nature of our world. “Humans want to be stable all the time. But the world goes by, changing continuously. The world transforms until our standing point is instability, and we are but a floating point”.
