- choreographer/performer/artist based in DC
have made performances for a range of contexts -- metro escalators, a record shop listening booth, living rooms, galleries and the stage. and, also for video-formats.
A recent dance-video/public art project entitled "Chance" was projected on the sides of buildings in DC in September 2007.

- How do you train yourself or your performers. How do you approach your embodied practices? what kind of technique do you use?
- improvisation - both as a movement practice and also an approach to making movement based work for other formats too
collecting and sorting through a variety of movements, images, associations
if i'm working with video or another technology, trying to integrate it right away at the start of a project -- lots of throw away footage, but starting to understand the medium we're working within
mind wandering, collecting images from walking down the street...letting my mind be like a movie and following image to image that appears
responding to spaces and making work specific to those spaces through writing, color, abstraction
i also find myself doing yoga, authentic movement, contact, somatic-practices and other things that amalgamate into some sort of practice.
