I am Thompson Smurthwaite, technical director of Decoda Music Gym, we use dance tech to engage people with profound disabilities and Autism. Plus we have a lot of fun.

How do you train yourself or your performers. How do you approach your embodied practices? what kind of technique do you use?

Our work is about engaging people, we make magic to attract them. Technology is also used as an assistive force to give those with restricted mobility the opportunity to make things happen. We have been using, what now seems to be called, intensive interaction for the last five years (a very sensitive mimicry).
