- CoCo Loupe is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and holds a BFA in Dance from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS and an MFA in Choreography from The Ohio State University.
In the past 20 years she has attended several summer dance festivals and workshops, co-founded three indie dance groups, taught at a few community colleges and state universities, and performed and trained with many well-known and not-so-well-known dance leaders/followers, ground-breakers/under-grounders and trend-setters/borrowers. Her work has been performed all over the place but not everywhere.
She is now living in Columbus, OH where she works, teaches and makes things like dances, websites, and t-shirts. She keeps a blog about Dance In Columbus and elsewhere up and running at http://columbusdancestuff.blogspot.com and you can find out more about CoCo and Her Dancing Life at http://www.cocoloupedance.com and http://cocoloupedance.blogspot.com. She always welcomes e-mails and blog comments regarding dance/art/community building/etc.
