Transformation of Walking. 2011. Hagaparken. Stockholm, Sweden.
Dance, choreography, camera and editing; Christopher Engdahl
This is a reenactment of "Walk one" by Jeannette Ginslov (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4gGGLXBPtU)
The piece "Transformation of Walking" comes from the will to reenact the force coming from the piece "Walk one". With intent to augment the force coming from the piece itself. With the intent to repeat the creative potential from which the piece "Walk one" emerged. With the intent to reactivate the forces of creation that produced "Walk one". With the intent to unlock and release what was kept in reserve in "Walk one". This is something else than copying, reproducing, reconstructing.
