Self Portrait

Pensive, strong, sensitive, vulnerable, cool, independent, well-spoken, sexual, and restrained… Either connected as a series of thoughts about myself, or actions that I consistently make, these adjectives tell a lot about who I am. Some of the words I welcome as an accurate portrait, and some I fight against because they reveal about me more than I would like to have known.

As a New Media/Performance Artist, I am charged with seamlessly integrating new media technology and time-based performance. I work to establish new forms from old traditions through the use of time manipulation, deconstruction of form, and the investigation of space, both real and virtual. My neo-traditional aesthetic is grounded by my regard for the ritualistic form.
