I mapped the space around me, inserting virtual objects that are turned on by my movement. A webcam frames the scene and sends the information to the computer. When I move my hands in sensitive areas, a synthesizer play sounds - different for each area - and it's like playing a virtual Soundmachine. Experiments of this kind have their roots in the 80s, which I quote in makeup and optial clothing.
The experiment is part of a series of performances, ideally dedicated to Eadweard Muybridge and his studies on the Science of motion. In these performances I invent different devices that allow me to paint the space with light and the movement of my body.

Ho mappato lo spazio intorno a me inserendo degli oggetti virtuali che sono attivati dal mio movimento. Una webcam inquadra la scena e invia le informazioni al computer. Quando muovo le mani all'interno delle aree sensibili, un sintetizzatore modula dei suoni - diversi per ogni area - ed è come suonare una soundmachine virtuale. Esperimenti di questo tipo affondano le loro radici negli anni '80, che io cito nel trucco e nell'abbigliamento optical.
L'esperimento fa parte di una serie di performance, idealmente dedicate a Eadweard Muybridge e ai suoi studi sulla scienza motoria. In queste performance elaboro strumenti via via sempre nuovi per "dipingere" lo spazio con la luce e con il movimento del mio corpo.
