Working with W. Forsythe’s ideas of improvisational modalities as tools to generate clear and articulate movements guides you to a better understanding of what the body can do in an accelerated state of motion. It's a great way to discover your own dancing capabilities and it will surely inspire you to move. This course is especially beneficial to anyone who is interested in finding out how to move with more awareness and become more creative and articulate in their movements. The course aims to develop your ability to improvise and create movement and steps from any given influence, using your own body, music, or your environment as a starting point.

Tamas Geza Moricz (HU/D)
Tamas Moricz graduated from the Hungarian State Ballet Academy in 1989. He danced with the Ballett Frankfurt under the direction of William Forsythe and performed numerous of William Forsythe's works. He also danced choreographies by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Mike Figgis, Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek, Jan Fabre, Jonathan Burrows, Saburo Teshigowara, Antony Rizzi, Jacopo Godani, Amanda Miller, Crystal Pite and many others. Tamas Moricz is currently working as a freelance teacher and performer, teaching the Forsythe Improvisational Modalities and ballet classes at higher educational facilities all around the world; among them Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst Busch” Berlin, P.A.R.T.S. / Brussels, Architanz / Tokyo, IALS / Rome and Korean National University of Arts, Seoul.
