Watch a clip from "Mercurius," a "lunar impact crater" that shifts slowly between contradictory states. It melds the spiral form and earth colors to symbolize a paradoxical space between harmony and destruction. "Mercurius" received First Prize from the Punto y Raya Festival 2007 (Madrid), First Prize from Abstracta 2007 (Rome), the "Breaking Out of the Frame" Special Jury Prize of Amsterdam Film eXperience 2007, and Best Experimental Animation / Visual Music from Red Stick International Animation Festival 2008, Baton Rouge.
