INTERFERENCIAS es un libro- catálogo que reúne una serie de ensayos y registros fotográficos de obras realizadas por la artista Chilena Brisa MP desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria. Los ensayos que se presentan en este libro han sido realizados entre los años 2005 y 2008 publicados en diferentes sitios web de difusión cultural, éstos se presentan como ejercicios reflexivos, referenciales y críticos paralelos a la producción de obra. (En idioma Español) Los registros fotográficos corresponden a obras realizadas entre los años 2000 y 2008 enfocadas principalmente a la convergencia de diferentes lenguajes como el video, la danza, la performance, la tecnología informática y aquellas referentes a la ciudad y el espacio público. INTERFERENCIAS is a book-catalogue that reunites to a series of texts and work photographic registry realised by the Chilean artist Brisa MP from an interdisciplinary perspective. The texts that appear in this book have been realised between years 2005 and 2008 published in different Web sites from cultural diffusion, these appear like reflective, referential exercises and parallel critics to the work production. (In Spanish language) The photographic registry correspond to works realised between 2000 and 2008 focused mainly to the convergence of different languages like the video, the dance, the performance, the computer science technology and those referring to the city and public space. (In Spanish and English language)


Caida Libre/ Brisa MP
CHILE
is licensed in Visual Arts. Postgraduate of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Barcelona in “Studies and Projects in Visual Culture”. Realised university courses in dance, and intensive seminaries in dance, digital medias and technology in Chile, Sweden, Spain, Portugal and Monaco. Obtains The SOGEDA PRIX with her work “Electrocoreográficos Exercises” in Monaco Dances Forum, IV Biennial of Dance of Monaco (2006). It realises artistic residence in dance and Technology in Lisbon, Portugal. She is director of the First International Encounter of Performance, Dance and Technology INTERFACE Body and New Technologies and of the FIVC, International Festival of Videodance of Chile. She is member of the Latin American Forum of Videodance (FLVD) and founder of the Videodance Network of Chile (VDCH). At the moment it investigates the computer science programming for interactive designs in real time for dance and performance. Its work is based on the interaction of languages and disciplines having like central axis the human body on three action lines: videodance, the technology and the city.
