Dance Artist and choreographer Chisato Minamimura is looking for three professional dancers to work on and perform her new work, Ring the Changes+ produced by body>data>space and premiering at SouthBank as part of the Unlimited Festival in September 2014.

Ring the Changes+ explores choreography and visual sound/music from Chisato’s deaf perspective. A complex and interactive work it will incorporate movement, sound/ music, voice and technology, generated by the dancers and Chisato from a series of mathematical choreographic scores.

The contract runs for 5 weeks contracts. Rehearsals will take place in July 2014 and work through to the premiere at Unlimited 2014, Southbank this September, with the possibility of national and international touring dates towards the end of 2014/15.

Deaf and Disabled dancers are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have

-        Strong contemporary technique

-        Experience in generating own material

-        Capacity to learn and adapt to existing material quickly

-        Experience in working with music and rhythmic scores

-        Previous experience in working with technology/digital artists
