Her short films, dance films, and VR projects have been featured in Short of the Week, NoFilmSchool, The Cut Magazine, Nashville Film Festival, Cucalorus Festival, PÖFF Shorts, and the LA Dance Film Festival, where she is now a member of the jury. In the industrial sector, she is a Director and Producer of narrative-driven content for corporate clients (Uber ATG, NanoString Technologies), and a Producer/Production Manager for branded content, music videos, and podcasts (Wolf Entertainment, FREENJOY, Special Order Co., The Famous Group). She holds a degree in Drama (Directing) and Screenwriting from Carnegie Mellon University. Filmmaking is the ultimate adventure and she seeks to employ non-naturalistic tools, from science-fiction to dance, to write and direct more human stories.
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
