Working primarily in studio and site-specific contexts, his approach to each project is unique, dependant on context and place. Processes are based on endurance and instinctual decision-making, where the intricacies and dramaturgies of each moment are exploded and explored to reach their potential. He will graduate from the Contemporary Performance Practice programme at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2010. Jónsson is a founding member and organiser of artFart, Iceland’s leading performance platform for students and young professionals.
