As well as lecturing at Bournemouth University, I'm a screen artist, plus I'm passionate about participatory media. In terms of my own arts practice, my projects draw together landscape, dance, performance and installation. They are a creative responsive to our relationship with our environment, with particular reference to 'place-time' - I'm using a time based art form to explore how time passes in a site. My work is concerned with the physicality of producing and exhibiting work where the audience can experience moving image work on a sensorial level. Ultimately, the films are all collaborations, either with dancers, sculptors, composers or technicians, and are devised and developed as a response to a specific ‘real life’ location or sensation.
