Guillermo Marrufo is a director who plays with all the disciplines of his trade: cinema, video, tv or advertising. He has work with filmakerssuch as Jesús Ponce or Silvia Munt amongst others. His last script, filmed by the name of “deriva” is playing in festivals along the world and has been given honors and mentions everywhere it goes.
Guillermo´s most personal work moves in the universe of videoart and videodance. Between his work, films like “porvenir” or “alcance” (awarded at Proyecta 2007 y 2008, Diputación de Cádiz), film campaigns and national tv adverts (Cajasol, Orange) and videos related to theatre plays, dance companies and visuals for spectacles of all kind.
The videoart work has been present in places such as La Muda, FEST, the Bienal de Flamenco, the Mercat de Les Flors or the Mes De Danza (inside the Sevilla Film Festival), and has worked with the coreographers and contemporary dancers Juan Luis Matilla, Judith Mata, Manuela Nogales y Paloma Díaz entre otros. He does not think he can dance.
At the moment, is finishing the script for a long feature and is asking his friends to buy him comics wherever they go.
