David Olivari is an "engineer artist". He got a master in computer science and mathematic and work for 7 years as R&D director.
Since 5 years, he develops a production around 3 directions : image, movement and interaction. His historical media is image but he now evolves to moving and noisy objects keeping image in mind. His constant focus is that the movement should build the interactivity. With his productions, he questions the frame topic in the creation process and the time needed to let the sensitive emerge.
David works and live in Montpellier but move all around the word. During his foreign trip, he practices contact improvisation, meet new media artist and visit independent studios.
His website www.david-o.net present his work with creative commons licence. He only works with Open Source Software on an GNU/Linux System."
