About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
I have a BA in Philosophy and another in Fine Arts, a MA in Art History and a PhD in Dance. As Professor at Faculdade de Motricidade Humana / TU Lisbon, I teach graduate and postgraduate students on several issues: Dance History, Aesthetics, Movement and Visual Arts, New Technologies applied to the stage. As a senior researcher, I've been in charge of Technologically Expanded Dance, a project being held with the support of the Portuguese Ministry of Science. My interests evolve a wide range of areas: from aesthetics to dance history, from cultural studies to digital technologies and experimental video. I am author of several studies on dance and art, and also a writer of two Science Fiction novels and short stories edited by Portuguese and Brazilians publishers. I am also a dance critic at “Expresso”, a weekly Portuguese newspaper.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
