StevenFajana is the founder and director of DanceartProjects. A London based dance for the camera artist and moving image-maker. His body of works has been exhibited/Screened.
His short films have been screened and exhibited nationally and internationally. His most recent video installation, as part of the presentation for Sebastian Prantl Tanz Atelier Wien, started a co-operation with a school for hearing-impaired children in Vienna, Austria Bundesinstitut für Gehörlosenbildung.
The taste for dance and visual filmmaking began, having been a performer and dancer. Film and video work have become inherent in dance, belonging naturally. Steven’s danceart projects is an approach to demystifying dance art form and the choreographic moving image process.
Danceart projects is keen to explore the intention of movements and the fugitive theatrics with the response of the body in space. Danceart projects employ movement and the framed vision of the camera in time-space and sound. The starting point is to dance and the narrative unfolds.
He has written and develops some shorts and dance art house films. He has participated in international and national film festivals.
As well as dance film making, Steven is an art-house filmmaker. Producing independent videography and production works. It covers digital film-video production assignments: Promos. TV, Online content, Documentary, Events, Corporate, Fashion...and video projects as commissioned.
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
