Giants of the Hoods reclaims the streets and turns them into scenes of dancing people, animated giant characters, and collective neighborhood activity in Helsinki. The events took place as part of the Media Facades Festival.

Giants of the Hoods was a street event open to all passersby and local citizens. It took place in three nights each time in a different neighborhood of Helsinki area – Kallio, Kontula, and Tapiola. A closing event that gathered the experiences together in a playful dance battle organised in the heart of Helsinki.
