thanks, Yukihiko, for drawing attention to the publication. I was pleased that Marlon published the press release with a picture of the cover. The book was a long time in the making, from 2005 until 2007, and then went through final revisions in 2008 and the long process of cutting from longer chapters and further illustrations (of the large pool of images i had). I would be interested of course in feedback, especially as I have a been asked whether it might be possible to create / or / curate an installation and visual exhibition of some of materials from the book's research and praxis components. It is an intriguing idea of make an exposition of a "book" ~(inviting other speakers and artists to show their work and comment on findings and criteria of debate) ~ which is actually not a book but a lot more, a research and interpretation record and an ongoing process of refection on performance techniques and new performance environments, and thus a laboratory on laboratories and mise en scènes.

I will briefly list an overview of the structure/contents of the book, so that the members of the community can see what it contains (the first part is almost entirely on dance and technology & at and technology and also attempts a kind of historical overview of the era ~ the recent developments in our field):
