LeeSaar The Company open new classes for dancers in the company studio in Park slop Brooklyn.

Company rehearsal directors, Jye-Whei Lin and Hsin- Yi Hsiang will lead 4 classes every week.

Once a month Lee or Saar will lead an open free class to all the participate dancers
We will invited guests dancers that we see in the class to take free morning classes with the company.

Price:
We offer these classes in order to share our knowledge and to meet new dancers
the price is low but the space is limited

$10 per class

Classes descriptions:

Company Class with Hsin-Yi Hsiang-
"This class will be similar to the company class we have before each rehearsal. The inspiration of the class is influenced by the Gaga movement language of Ohad Naharin and my experiences from working with Lee and Saar. I'd like to share this class and to use it as a source for everyone to check where we are individually each day. It is important for us to give ourselves opportunities to be in a fresh and new place every day. We work closely with our sensation and awareness of the body. We open and listen to the movement that we have inside ourselves. We build our sensibility in many layers and qualities.
Strengthening the power of our core, our engine is one of our focuses. We give 100% to the extremes in order to check our limits. We connect to our passion and pleasure to move like children, the ability to move purely, sincerely, to be full of energy, imagination and fantasy without expectations. At the same time, we learn to be our own mentor. We unlock many doors in our body and welcome different states of mind to take over us. We look forward to being alive, free and available." Hsin-Yi

Repertoire Class with Jye-Hwei Lin
"The class will begin with a 20-30 min of mini version of our daily company classes, in which you will be encouraging to be your own observer. We work with varied sensation we carry within and play with the infinite options and capabilities to move in space. The accumulation of this will prepare an alert and efficient body to serve for the individual pathway of exploring throughout the class. Besides having the first hand experience on the choreography of LeeSaar The Company, the emphasis will be placed on how sensation and awareness change the way we move. We look for possibilities to break the habitual pattern of moving, to get rid of what we've known, to find the freedom and extremes at the same. The studio is our playground where we embrace and honor every aspects of ourselves revealing on the surface, falling and failing are strongly recommended." Jye-hwei
