DESCRIPTION:4th of Edition of TRANSIT FESTIVAL is taking place in İST
 ANBUL between 1st and 8th of July. Then will move to CAPPADOCCIA on th
 e 10th till 17th.\n\nTRANSIT FESTIVAL is an international festival whi
 ch already completed 3 successful editions on the art scene of ISTANBU
 L. It gathers artists and audiences from different backgrounds, in and
  around the practice of improvisation and performance art, through dan
 ce, music and visual arts, investing specific environments and locatio
 ns.\n\nTRANSIT FESTIVAL proposes workshops to an international audienc
 e composed of professional artists, amateurs and offers access to cont
 emporary performances to local audiences.\n\nThis year, during its fir
 st week TRANSIT FESTIVAL will welcome again the famous duet of improvi
 sed music and dance; Barre Phillips and Julyen Hamilton. They will giv
 e a 8 day workshop to share their vision and experience with a group o
 f 35 dancers and musicians as well as perform and lead a panel.\n\nWe 
 will then make a leap further east in Anatolia to persue in Uchisar, s
 mall village of CAPPADOCCIA. Using the natural and cultural environmen
 ts as key elements of the artistic proposition, a residency workshop w
 ill be led by Yanaël Plumet in and around the village. A series of pe
 rformances specially created for this place and event will be proposed
