Event Description

Sense, feel and imagine your way into embodied awareness and creativity. Healing and transformation arrive like a long awaited muse as your body/emotions/mind and spirit come alive. Connecting with our individual and collective creativity, your soul renews its place in your life and in the world.

Take time to feel and listen to the powerful intelligence of your body. Play with and express your imagination through the arts. Create personal and collective dances that have meaning. Encounter old stories in new ways, and bring new vision to the life themes that matter to you in daily life.

Curriculum is guided and inspired by the Life/Art Practice, an innovative approach which has been at the cutting edge of movement/dance, somatic psychology, expressive arts therapy and the performing arts since the 1960’s

Daria Halprin, co-founder of the internationally acclaimed Tamalpa Institute in California, is a dancer, actress, poet, psychologist and teacher. She is a leading pioneer in the field of movement and expressive arts therapy and is author of The Expressive Body in Life, Art and Therapy. www.tamalpa.org
